Round Rock

By |

Round Rock, Texas is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. In 1970, there were only 2,700 residents, but today, Round Rock is home to more than 100,000 people. In spite of this rapid expansion, Round Rock is not feeling any growing pains. Just the opposite, Round Rock has used its new found popularity to grow into a healthy, self-sustaining city. The recent addition of an Ikea store has sent central Texans flocking to Round Rock. However, Round Rock has more to offer eager shoppers than Swedish furniture with sleek designs. Round Rock is home to the Premier Premium Outlet stores, attracting not only Texans but bargain hunters from around the world. For those looking for higher priced items, Lexus of Round Rock is just adjacent to the outlet stores. Round Rock is the home of the Round Rock Express, central Texas’ most beloved minor league baseball team. Owned by Reid Ryan – son of the Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan – the team has been a hometown favorite since coming to Round Rock in 2004. The team’s home field is Dell Diamond, an 85 acre, $25 million dollar state-of-the-art baseball stadium named after the computer giant Dell, Inc. Much of Round Rock’s recent boom can be attributed to a wealth of incoming employers who preferentially choose Round Rock for its highly educated workforce. One of the top employers in Round Rock is Dell, Inc. who has headquartered in Round Rock since 1996. Dell is the third…

Northwest Austin Apartments

Looking to live in Northwest Austin? If you’re looking for a cozy apartment in Northwest Austin, we don’t blame you. This neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. Living in this area, you will be right in the middle of the gorgeous Hill Country — and the views are truly amazing. Northwest Austin is typically a quieter area in Austin, and a good distance away from the bustling big city. This is a very residential spot within the city that’s perfect for apartment hunters searching for somewhere peaceful to lay their heads. This area has an abundance of things to do outdoors! One of our favorite places to explore is Mount Bonnell. This prominent lookout alongside Lake Austin has been a popular attraction since the 1850s. As Austin City’s highest point, at 785 feet, Mount Bonnell lets you enjoy breathtaking views of Downtown Austin and the surrounding area. This vista is by far the best place to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Hiking to the 360 Bridge Overlook is also something that every Austinite should do, and the views are most definitely Snapchat and Instagram worthy. In Northwest Austin, it’s only a short drive to Lake Travis, the Austin Aquarium, and shopping and dining at the Domain! Apartments here are usually pretty affordable, with lots of green space and trees around that make for beautiful views. Austin offers a number of really great neighborhoods, and our Northwest Austin apartments give you the chance to live in one of the best. Plus, properties…

Southwest Austin

We absolutely love Southwest Austin! It still has the “coolness” of South Austin and the 78704, but it’s so much more affordable. Here you get the most bang for your buck and you’re likely to find a wide range of prices to fit your budget! Plus it’s just outside of the busy city, so it tends to be very quiet and clean with beautiful Hill Country views and lots of green space. The Veloway Park is nearby- a circular 3-mile bike bath only dedicated to bikes and rollerblades- and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is close as well! The southwest location is great because it’s a short drive to downtown, and it’s the closest area to wineries just outside of Austin. All my wine loving people need to move here ASAP because places like Fall Creek Vineyards, Duchman Family Winery, and Trattoria Lisina & Mandola Vineyard are amazing and so close by! The Austin Zoo is nearby too and is a great place to spend the day with family or friends. Plus they host multiple events throughout the year- like Easter egg hunts, fun runs, and Boo at The Zoo! This area is really great for people who enjoy the quiet and clean side of Austin, and who are looking for affordable rent while being close to amenities downtown. Drive South/Southwest past the Austin city limits and find yourself in the Texas Hill Country. This expanse of rolling hills plays host to a number of small towns with all…
