How long have you been working here?
“1 month…ish.”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“Working with my clients, building a rapport, and finding them an awesome place to call home! It’s great to build a trusting, genuine relationship with my clients as I work to find them a badass place.”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“Utilize furniture and decorative pieces that have built-in storage.”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“Oak Lawn all day! Luxury properties, walkability to basically everything, and totally affordable! Such a great neighborhood to be in.”

How long have you been working here?
“Coming up on two years, I think. Time flies when you’re having fun. :)”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“Meeting new people, for sure (not that I don’t love spending my day in the office with our terrific team). But getting a chance to meet new people and genuinely help them in a stressful time in there lives is truly a gratifying feeling. Plus, you can never have too many friends.”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“I live in the Mid-Cities. The reason I chose this area, apart from being close to our office, was that it’s so easy to get any where in Dallas from here in a matter of minutes. Also, it’s located close to Greenville Avenue; I have plenty of options when it comes to food or a great pool hall.”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“The feeling of being on a permanent summer vacation. You know the feeling: Waking up, texting your friends, seeing where everyone is at, and meeting up. We do that, but every day, and somehow it translates into making a living, but it never actually feels like work. If I’m meeting up with clients to go check out properties, or calling around town to find the best deal for my clients, it’s an adrenaline rush; it’s new every day and no day is ever the same.”

How long have you been working here?
“A little over a year now.”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“My favorite part about being an apartment locator is meeting new people! I love being able to help people find their “dream apartments” and just making people happy! It’s the most satisfying thing making other people happy and being excited with them for their new home!”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“I currently live in the South Side of Dallas. I’ve moved three times this year… I’m crazy I know! I tell my clients I move so much to get the best insider experience of every area! So far, South Side is the BEST SIDE! It’s totally under the radar and cooler than most places in Dallas. I’m walking distance from mixology bars, awesome music venues, local markets, and so much more! I love it!”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“I think the second reason why I move so much is because I’m addicted to decorating! I love surfing Pinterest and getting new DIY ideas and what not. My best tip for decorating is to hunt for the bargains and re-do them! I have countless items in my apartment that I only paid $5 and they look like a million bucks now! ;)”

How long have you been working here?
“One month!”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“My favorite part about being a locator is helping people find their perfect new place and making their life so much easier. Nothing makes me feel better than knowing I helped someone find the absolute best apartment out there!”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“I live in Frisco! My favorite part about Frisco is that it is up and coming with new development, and there are tons of mom-and-pop restaurants that I find every week that I had no clue existed. I love trying small, locally owned and operated places and supporting the community.”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“Getting smaller scale furniture and use mirrors on your walls to make the space feel bigger!”

How long have you been working here?
“I been here a few months! One the most amazing times in my life!”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“I live in Plano. I love the school district, and being from Atlanta, I love being close to all the major Texas corporate headquarters and watching the start-to-finish phase of the construction that’s happening, including the new Cowboys headquarters in Frisco! Oh, by the way, #DezCaughtTheBall.”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“I’m a fanatic of abstract art, and they’re great to display in a small space. I would also say shop IKEA; they have the best design pieces to decorate a small space!”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“Words CANNOT explain how much I love this team/family; but here it goes! We have a strong cohesiveness as a team, we empower each other to reach higher and go out everyday to please our clients above and beyond! We are one big happy family! #SmartCityFORever”

How long have you been working here?
“About 6 months!”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“I love finding regular people a great place to live! There’s nothing better than coming home from work or play to a place you love!”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“The Bishop Arts area is REALLY taking off! It’s got a bit of an Austin vibe for the people who find Dallas too busy, but it has anything and everything that fun, youthful people want near them! It might be my next place to live!”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“The attitude! We’re a bunch of relaxed, fun people who love apartments, no muss, no fuss! Laidback is the best way to do business, and that’s exactly how we do it!”

How long have you been working here?
“Since the beginning! Well a month shy from the VERY beginning. It’ll be 2 years in May and it has FLOWN by! I kinda like this place A LOT. =)”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“Leave half of your stuff at your parent’s house and pick only the boldest, brightest, sparkliest of pieces for your place. Less is more and the better organized you are, the shinier your decorations look.”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“Deep Ellum is coming back, y’all!  It’s one of the best places to catch a live show and has some of the best food and hidden bars in Dallas.”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“I’m gonna be the cheesiest agent of them all and say, because of our one-of-a-kind broker! She is such a positive, uplifting motivation for us on an everyday basis. There can be amazing days and not so amazing days, but no matter what, she seems to always have an insightful message to take from both. No matter what, keep moving and always, “the harder you work, the luckier you are.” Love you Cassie Brown! =)”

How long have you been working here?
“From the get-go, AKA two whole years!”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“Oak Lawn for life! Seriously, I’ll make the t-shirt. Reason being? It’s right in the center of everything! Dinner in Uptown? Minutes away. Brunch in Bishop Arts? Minutes away. Bar hopping on Henderson? Minutes away! Toss in the fact that you have the Katy Trail in your ‘hood and plenty of parks, shopping, and restaurants nearby, and you’ve got to see why I think Oak Lawn is the sunniest side of the city.”

What’s your best tip for decorating smaller spaces like apartments?
“Shelves–lots and lots of shelves! Skinny bookshelves filled with trinkets (and, you know, books) can fashionably separate small spaces, while floating shelves can turn your walls into personalized art galleries, functional organizers, or even just added storage.”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“Besides Oak Lawn? I’m definitely digging what’s going on in West Dallas right now! Brand new, ridiculously affordable, hip housing options sandwiched right between the Bishop Arts District and the hot new Trinity Groves area–it’s like Dallas’s own slice of Austin.”

How long have you been working here?
“I’ve bled the burgundy, orange, and light teal for one year!”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“I FREAKIN’ LOVE that I don’t have to ask my clients for a dime. I can use my full capacity to HELP! We can actually be friends, and not size each other up, unlike most real estate situations!”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“Knox-Henderson! This is my HOOD! These are my bars! These are my sushi places and coffee shops!”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“No joke, these people, my coworkers, are my brothers and sisters! My support. My drinking buddies. My family! The best part is the people that I’m surrounded by, and all the new people I meet and get to nerd out with everyday!”

How long have you been working here?
“9 fabulous months and I couldn’t be happier.”

What’s your favorite part about being an apartment locator?
“My favorite part about being a locator is having the luxury of exploring all that Dallas has to offer. Instead of being stuck in doors all day, I get to show clients how amazing this city really is! Watching them fall in love with Dallas makes my day!”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“Deep Ellum for sure! Contrary to what everyone believes, Dallas has a very artistic touch; the art, the music, and the free flowing culture is growing in Dallas. If you are into lofty spaces and creative atmospheres, Deep Ellum is your hood 100 percent!”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“The team that is Smart City is one of the best teams I have ever been apart of. Going to work feels more like going to hang out with the homies. It’s nice to know that we have a group of people with a common interest in helping others!”

“Since September of ’13.”

What neighborhood/area do you live in and what is your favorite part about that area?
“I just moved to the University Park/Park Cities area and I LOVE how close I am to everything a person could possibly need. I could walk to Inwood Village if I wanted to! (… And probably should; there are so many good restaurants over there.)”

What neighborhood do you think is the next major spot for Dallasites to live and why?
“I think East Dallas is really becoming amazing! Knox-Henderson, Lower Greenville, and Lakewood all have tons of things to offer and are really growing in popularity! “East of 75″ is becoming a very typical search these days–much more so than when I started working here!”

What’s the best part about working at Smart City?
“The best part about working at Smart City is EVERYTHING! We aren’t just coworkers; we’re all great friends outside of work and everyone gets along, seriously! I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with everyday.”
