Created to beneift Austin Pets Alive! and Service Dogs Inc., this event will have you screaming, your dog screaming, and all of us screaming for ICE CREAM! Amy’s Ice Cream will be providing ice cream for your pups at this mobile startup’s event! Dogs will be able to give you bragging rights as they compete in events like fire hydrant ring toss, K9 agility course and dog ice cream eating competitions! Also, free craft beer, raffle prizes and complimentary dog treat buffet doesn’t hurt! $5 donation and up!

TEXAS CRAFT BREWERS FESTIVAL
Presented to you by Whole Foods and Craft Pride,produced by Texas Craft Brewers Guild, this is Texas’ largest craft beer event focused exclusively on Texas-produced craft beer. Tickets range from $10-$75 and is a 21+ only event! If you volunteer as DD, your ticket will only be $10! Or get one of your friends to be DD so you don’t have to worry about getting back to your apartment later and buy a general admission ticket for $30 which includes (8) 3-oz sampling tokens and a TCBF tasting cup! Drink beer for a good cause, as this event is benefitting the Austin Habitat for Humanity!

EASY TIGER OKTOBERFEST
Celebrate the love-child of Austin Beerworks and Easy Tiger’s: Montecore, a German-style Märzen bier. There will also be food specials, drafts specials like Avery The Kaiser, Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest, and Victory Festbier. Check out life screeenprinting from Fine Southern Gentlemen.  Short and sweet, this event will be cool.

2015 AUSTIN MUSEUM DAY
This is a free city-wide event enabling you to discover all those museums you talk about liking on Tinder. Over 40 museums are participating, with notable mentions: Austin History Center, Austin Nature and Science Center, Austin Rock & Roll CAr Museum, Austin Tour Guide Association, Chateau Bellevue, Blanton Museum of Art, Brush Square Museums, City of Austin Cultural Arts Division, German-Texas Heritage Society, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, LBJ Presidential Library and Museum, Mexic-Arte Museum (our favorite), Republic of TExas Museum, The Contemporary Austin and The Thinkery. Get out of your apartment and go culture yourself, you animal.

AUSTIN MUSIC VIDEO FESTIVAL
Catch the end of this already-ongoing event with categories like “LOL screening”, “NSFW screening”, and the “We Got a Dance Off screening” for a wide variety of music videos you and your buds will love. Check out Empire Control Room’s interactive exhibit, panels and workshops on the closing day of the festival! One of the workshops will teach the valuable lesson on “How to Animate a Monster Destroying Downtown Austin”, which is crucial to most and all Austinites. Tickets are $25!
