5 Options for Ringing in 2015 in Dallas
by Audrey Swanson
We’re not all apartment business all the time. A part of what makes us good at what we do is that whole “work hard, play hard” idea, which especially comes into fruition for one of the biggest celebration evenings of the year: New Year’s Eve. We want to get down and know you do, too, so we’ve done some digging for the hottest spots to be when the clock strikes midnight tomorrow.
1) Blackfriar Pub
$5 cover after 9 pm; $10 after 10 pm
Get ready for a live DJ, free party favors and a midnight champagne toast at this classic uptown pub!
2) Cowboys Dancehall Dallas
7 pm: doors
$15 in advance; $20 at door; $30 reserved seating
Texas country artist Aaron Watson is performing at this New Year’s Eve bash! If you’re more of a two-stepper than a nightclubber, this is the spot for you!
$25 for one ticket; $40 for a pair
Don’t miss out on welcoming the new year in masked style at an enticing and fun masquerade party! DJ Feezy will spin up some jams and you’ll experience a midnight balloon drop, champagne toast and exciting party favors!
4) Double Wide
9 pm: doors; 10 pm: show
$7 in advance; $10 at door
Come to experience a Nirvana cover band followed by a live DJ at this full-lot party (don’t fret; they’ll have tons of heaters)! It won’t be complete without a photo booth, the Easy Slider food truck and a champagne of beers toast at midnight!
5) Henderson Tap House
4-8 pm: dinner, with a party following
$40 for dinner and a champagne split
Celebrate at this Victorian era-themed, three-course dinner and festive after party! Steampunk attire (including bustles, corsets, gowns, petticoats, suits with waistcoats, top hats, etc.) is suggested but not required.
