4 Coffee Shops In Your Favorite Dallas Neighborhoods!!
Okay, it’s getting cold AF outside. This is Texas so we have no idea how to cope in weather below 65 degrees. The best method we have found is great coffee. Even better when it’s close by and in your neighborhood. Here are our favorite coffee shops in each Dallas neighborhood.
ASCENSION IN THE DESIGN DISTRICT
Ascension coffee is located in the Design District near Oak Lawn and Hi Line Dr. It’s a very stylish coffee shop that serves premium slow-dripped coffee and an assortment of wines. So, it’s basically super bougie craft coffee made by super fancy machines that make super fancy coffee. And it all tastes DELICIOUS and it’s all WORTH IT. They also have live music on various evenings. We recommend the cold brew Kyoto, a Japanese cold brew that is great!
OAK CLIFF COFFEE ROASTERS IN BISHOP ARTS
Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters is next on our list. They are located off of West Davis in Bishop Arts next to a bunch of cute shops like Joy Macaroons. Their entire store is very industrial with awesome wooden furniture and wooden accents. It’s very Oak Cliff. We recommend the latte or classic slow-drip coffee. If one visit isn’t enough, swing by next door to their retail shop and buy some premium coffee merchandise so you can take your coffee addiction to a whole new level.
HOUNDSTOOTH IN KNOX/HENDERSON
A local favorite that began in Austin is Houndstooth coffee located in Knox/Henderson. Along with delicious coffee, they also serve an assortment of beer, wine and pastries from local suppliers. We recommend going to one of their free and public coffee tastings so you can get a better idea of the coffee they serve. If you can’t make it over to Knox/Henderson they are planning to expand to a new location in West Dallas at Sylvan Thirty! More Houndstooth for everyone!!!
MUDSMITH ON LOWER GREENVILLE
If you’re on Lower Greenville, Mudsmith is your coffee spot. They make some really weird drinks that actually taste good. Take the Van Gough Spritzer for example. Ice, sparkling water, your choice of syrup and 4 shots of espresso. If enjoying your coffee outside is more your thing, they have a nice patio on the lower Greenville strip for some fun people watching.
